3. If the stop screw(s) do not touch the base of the main bearing of the roof mechanism (Figure 3, Pos. 4), the loading aid hydraulic cylinder on the
left or right side must be replaced. Refer to WIS document AR77.37-P-3600R.
NOTE:

Repair work and fault analysis may require the Vario roof be closed or opened manually (by hand). In order to avoid damage to the Vario roof,
please follow the procedure described in WIS document AR77.30-P-6235R. If the Vario roof is lifted out of the trunk by the front section, the
mounting surface on the inside (Figure 4, Pos. 8) can become deformed. This may cause the Vario roof to rub beyond the roof frame when it is
closed with the roof switch which could cause damage to the seal and paint work.

As of VIN F116594, a vent bore was introduced into the base of the hydraulic cylinder (Figure 5, Pos. 7) to mitigate the issue.
