AR68.20-P-5701R Remove/Install Storage Box Lid

DANGER:

-

Injury hazard Gas pressure struts are under high pressure and can pinch and crush body parts during work

-

Remove and install gas pressure struts only in relaxed position and on components property secured.

Remove storage box (2)

Remove bolt (4)

Remove bolt (3)

Unclip stowage compartment lighting (E13/3) and

Separate the electrical plug connection at the storage compartment lighting (E13/3) and remove stowage compartment lighting

Open bottom part of lid (5) and unclip connector (6)

Unscrew the bolts (7).

Separate storage box (2) from carrier (8)

Unscrew gas-operated strut (9) from storage box lid (1)

Use a screwdriver to unclip cover (10) from the telephone cradle (5)

Unscrew bolts (11)

Open bottom part of lid (5) and remove storage box lid (1)

Remove hinges (12) on left and right

NOTE:  Installation: Pay attention to routing of electric cable (13).

Unclip connector holder (14) at carrier (8)

Unclip connector (15) at connector holder (14)

install in the reverse order
