Drill 6 mm dia. hole at marked point (see arrow) through bead on frame floor system (FFS) and treat with corrosion protection agent.
Do not damage carpeting in vehicle.

Secure connection cable for the lamp foil to the underside of the illuminated door sill molding (1) with adhesive tape (2) (see figure on left).

Open connector housing (5) at connection wire of illuminated door sill molding and pull out wires.

Route connection lead for illuminated door sill molding (1) to passenger compartment through bore hole (see arrow) and insert into connector
housing (5).
Use clamps as required.

Clip in illuminated door sill molding (1).
