An external fuel metering pump is located in the area of the vehicle's fuel tank to provide the heater's fuel supply.

The heaters are suitable for vehicles with diesel or gasoline engines, depending on the version of the burner insert. The respective design is identified on
the model label either by the lettering "Diesel" or "Gasoline".

Heating mode at a low interior temperature or stationary ventilation at a high interior temperature is

triggered preprogrammed via the instrument cluster (A1)

-

triggered immediately (manually) using the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) or the STH switch (N72s12).

In the instrument cluster (A1) up to three preselect times can be stored, of which only one can be activated. The preselect times are entered and activated
by the left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110). The multifunction display in the instrument cluster (A1) acts as an indicating instrument in
this case.

Heating mode or stationary ventilation is also immediately switched off manually using the STH remote radio control transmitter (A8/3) or the STH
switch (N72s12), regardless of the previous type of triggering.

The remote radio control transmitter's operational range of approx. 300 m can be impaired if transmitting through obstacles between the transmitter and
vehicle or actuating the transmitter within enclosed premises.

The CTEL antenna (A2/22) receives the transmitter radio signals and conducts the radio signals via an antenna splitter to the STH radio remote control
receiver (A6/1).

The STH radio remote control receiver (A6/1) and the STH switch (N72s12) are connected directly to the STH control module (A6n1) integrated in the
heater.

The exchange of signals for preprogrammed operation and the interior temperature-dependent heating or ventilating decision is dealt with by the AAC
pushbutton control module (N22) and the STH control module (A6n1) via the interior CAN (CAN-B).
