Function

The AAC pushbutton control module (N22) sends a control voltage of 0 - 6 V over the A/C databus to the blower regulator (A32n1). Depending on the
applied control voltage which is present, this then regulates the operating voltage (0 - 12 V) for the rear blower motor (A32m1). This facilitates blower
motor speed control of 0 - 100 %.

The blower motor output can be increased in relation to outside temperature.
In order to ensure that the windows are not fogged up when outside temperatures are low and the passenger compartment temperature level doesn't drop,
the blower motor output is increased at outside temperatures of -10 °C to -15 °C by a maximum of 15 %.

Control of the blower regulator (operating voltage) is influenced by the following factors:

REST (utilization of residual engine heat)

Mode status (heating, cooling)

Coolant temperature

Ground speed

Vario roof position (open or closed)

Insolation

Terminal 15 (blower ON), starter running (blower OFF)
