Fit radial seal (1) onto insertion sleeve (7) 103 589 01 14 00 and press in flush (arrows) with sleeve (8) (shop-made).
The radial seal (1) must be vertical relative to the camshaft (10) to achieve proper sealing.

Install in the reverse order, beginning with step 8.
