Roll Bar Hydraulic Valve Block: Service and Repair
Renewing Solenoid Valves

Preceding work:
Remove coupe roof panel
Remove side panel in rear compartment.

Example

Renewing solenoid valve No.9 on valve block (Y55).

New solenoid valve

make ready.

Roll bar

raise.

Connector coupling (1)

disconnect.

Screws (2)

unscrew (tightening torque 7 + 1 Nm).

Solenoid valve (3)

remove in direction of arrow.

NOTE:  Insert solenoid valve immediately in the valve block, otherwise installation would be hindered by escaping hydraulic oil.

 
Installation

in the reverse sequence.

Function and sealing check

perform.
