Open soft top storage compartment and determine version and location the soft top supports, using Figure 2 as a reference. If necessary, proceed
with Step 2 below.

Carefully open overlay (small arrow, Figure 2) of fabric trim near the existing soft top supports (1a, Figure 2) and remove existing soft top
supports.

3.

Reglue the opened fabric trim and overlay (small arrow, Figure 2) to the soft top storage compartment as necessary.

4.

Remove the protective foil from the modified soft top supports, part number 129 694 03 97.

Determine and mark the new exact location (lower section of Figure 2) for the modified soft top cover supports, using the dimensions as noted in
the Dimension Chart and Figure 2.

6.

Glue modified soft top cover supports to the fabric trim.

Repair hint: 

The exact center of the soft top storage compartment can be determined by measuring the distance between the soft top storage compartment cover
latchbores (large arrows, dimension "B", Figure 2). Half of dimension "B" is the exact center of the soft top storage compartment.
