Grease plastic cup and ball head mount in bearing bracket.
Use MB lubricating paste, part no. 001 989 14 51.

Insert cup into bearing bracket, observe catch lug (arrow).

Screw cross member into bearing bracket (arrows).
Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm.

Screw both gear spindles all the way up against the stop, then install gear on seat frame. Connect flexible drive shaft with gear drive shaft and
position gear with assembly pin.

Continue to reinstall in opposite order. Observe installation note.
