Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
PRECEDING WORK
Viscous fan clutch removed.
OVERVIEW
Bolts in pulley (10) for power steering pump (4):
Loosen, tighten.
Poly-V belt (5):
Remove, install.
Pulley (1) of tensioning device (3):
Remove, install.
INSTALLATION NOTE
Bolt (1a):
Tighten to 38 Nm with torque wrench 001 689 72 21 00.
Pulley (10) for power steering pump (4):
Remove, install.
Bolts (2) M8 x 60 and bolts (7) M8 x 110:
Unscrew, screw in (21 Nm).
Power steering pump (4):
Press outward in direction of arrow.
Tensioning device (3):
Remove toward front, install.
