Remove (twist) cable securing SRS connector to locking lever. Disconnect SRS harness connector (3, Figure 5) from SRS control module (N22).
Pull SRS harness connector (3) out from left side of center console.

Slide contact carrier retaining clip forward (arrow, Figure 6) and remove contact carrier (4, Figure 7) from harness connector housing (3).

Remove existing wires (Figure 7), positions 15, 33 (if present) from contact carrier (these wires are no longer used).

Insulate connectors on wires (removed from contact carrier) with premium quality electrical tape (e.g. 3M Scotch(R) 33) and tie back along SRS
harness with electrical tape.

7.

Insert brown/white wire (Figure 7) from ACSR harness (1) into contact carrier position 15. Insert green/white wire (Figure 7) from ACSR harness
(1) into contact carrier position 33.
