Note:
After the completion of this procedure affix a Child Protection Warning Label (5-2656-397) (Figure 21), to the right front passenger door interior
panel (arrow, Figure 22):
IMPORTANT!

Peel off old child protection label (5-2656-096) if installed.
^
Surface must be clean, dry, and not colder than 5O°F.
^
Clean area with rubbing alcohol if necessary.
^
Peel off backing and apply label to proper location (arrow. Figure 22).
^
Complete bonding of label takes place in 72 hours.
The affixed child protection warning label should be visible only when right front passenger door is open.
This location was selected so that the label message is visible when the door is open, the critical moment when an adult needs to make the right decision
about potential hazards for their child. In addition, this will avoid the urge for front passenger to pick and peel the label when the car is in motion.
