INSTALLATION OF BABYSMART(TM) AUTOMATIC CHILD SEAT RECOGNITION (ACSR)
The BabySmart(TM) ACSR may be installed in model 129 vehicles as of September 1995 up to model year 1997 (model year 1998 vehicles come with
BabySmart(TM) ACSR as standard equipment), which are equipped with or without occupied seat recognition. The BabySmart(TM) ACSR prevents
deployment of the passenger airbag when a BabySmart(TM) compatible child seat (which is equipped with two resonators) is installed in the vehicle.
The Work instructions no. 368 describes the installation of the BabySmart(TM) ACSR.
