Radius Arm: Service and Repair

Remove/install Radius Rod

Model 210 Illustrated

CAUTION:  Installation:  Replace self-locking nuts

DANGER:

Risk of fatal accident from vehicle slipping or toppling off the lift platform

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points
specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Torque strut

NOTE:  Models 129, 170, 202, 208, removal:  Push wheel carrier forwards and release before pulling out hexagon bolt at rear axle carrier.

CAUTION:  The rear axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nuts

Sleeve in wheel carrier to reduce diameter

Install sleeve for tension arm in wheel carrier.

112c Brake caliper dust shield without dent

Only model 202.018/020/022/023/121:  To removing bolt of tension arms from wheel carrier brake caliper, push dust shield approx. 3 mm
towards brake disk.
