Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Front

PREPARATION

Remove the hub assembly with bearings. See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Remove outer tapered roller bearing (9c) from front wheel hub (9)

2. Drive inner tapered roller bearing (9l) and radial sealing ring (9a) out of front wheel hub using drift (05a) tool No. 202 589 00 15 00, or equivalent

3. Remove outer race of inner tapered roller bearing (9b) from front wheel hub using puller (06) tool No. 201 589 00 33 00, or equivalent
