In the event of a malfunction of the telephone antenna (e.g. defective due to rollover), the communication module integrated into the emergency call
system control unit automatically sends and receives the mobile phone signals and data via the TELE AID backup antenna (A2/50).

Function sequence for remote destination feed or points of interest (POI)

In the event of breakdown assistance, it is possible for example, to load the address of a workshop into the navigation module of the COMAND
operating, display and controller unit. The service center transmits the address of the workshop by means of mobile phone signals or data to the
emergency call system control unit over the following path:

The customer confirms receipt of the workshop and can then start the navigation.
