Function sequence for feedback via rear wing status LED
The rear wing status is indicated via the rear wing status LED (S16/14e1). The following states are possible:

LED off, rear wing is retracted

-

LED flashes, rear wing is in intermediate position

-

LED on, rear wing is extended

Function sequence for feedback via instrument cluster
The following messages are displayed on the instrument cluster:

In the right multifunction display (A1p15) when manually retracting rear wing: "Warning. Rear wing retracts."

First a pictogram of the spoiler with arrow down appears in the left multifunction display (A1p13).

In the right multifunction display with defective rear wing or defective rear wing control: "Rear spoiler control defective! Please visit workshop."

An acoustic warning signal sounds together with messages in the instrument cluster.

Message "Rear spoiler control" defective. Please visit workshop." can be reset manually. When the rear wing button is actuated for t = 10 s, with c.
15 R, the fault memory is erased. After t = 10 s the rear wing status LED flashes continuously.
