Remove diverter flap actuator motor (M16/27) from evaporator housing cover (1)

NOTE:  Installation:  Check condition of adjusting mechanism. If damage is found, obtain appropriate part from kinematics parts kit.

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory

Normalize actuator motor.

1.1 Remove radio
1.2 Remove COMAND control and display unit

NOTE:  Only with code (352a) COMAND control and display system

Pull the installation frame with beverage holder out from the instrument panel

Remove the right center nozzle air flap actuator motor (M16/23)

4

Disconnect the electrical connector at the right center nozzle air flap actuator motor (M16/23)

5

Install in the reverse order.

Read out fault memory

Normalize actuator motor.

Disconnect the electrical connector at the right center nozzle air flap actuator motor (M16/24)

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory.

Normalize actuator motor.
