If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that there is a SRS warning in the instrument cluster, this may be due to the WSS control unit
connection being loose or unplugged. If the seat is set to a very low position, the connector may contact with the cover of the cable duct under the seat.
To remedy this condition, follow the instructions below.
1. Remove front passenger seat. Refer to WIS document AR91.10-P-1000R.
2. Install a new cable cover with modified contour (Figure 1).
3. Reconnect the connector.
4. Secure connector with cable tie as shown in Figure 2.
Note:
The position of the cable tie must exactly match the position shown in Figure 2.
5. Check cable tie for tight seating in order to rule out any subsequent twisting.
