Parktronic System Intermittently Nonfunctional

If you encounter customer reports in the above model vehicles of the Parktronic system intermittently not functioning, check the switch at the foot
operated parking brake for ease of movement. If the switch exhibits resistance during its range of travel, replace the switch.

Note

The contact switch of the foot-operated parking brake may respond with significant delay when released. This occurs when the contact switch only
travels a short distance, for example if the foot-operated parking brake is only released from the first notch.

Note

The Parktronic system is deactivated when the foot-operated parking brake is applied.
