These must be replaced as a complete assembly as done previously (only the first replacement can be done as a complete assembly): 

Model 211 WIS: AR33.20-P-0500T 

Model 219 WIS: AR33.20-P-0500TX 

Model 230 WIS: AR33.20-P-0500R

Any subsequent flange upper ball joint replacements must utilize the new repair method (refer to Repair Information below).

Separate replacement of the flange ball joint is the prescribed method for flange ball joint replacement. This replacement can also take place
with the upper control arm installed, which provides a considerable time saving.

Repair Information

The upper flange ball joints (bolted on the upper control arms) on the applicable models must be replaced as described in the WIS document
below effective with the issuing of this bulletin.

Note:

For upper flange ball joint replacement instructions refer to WIS: AR33.20-P-0427TX (except Model 211 up to production 02/2003 and
model 230 up to production 04/2003 with one-piece control arm without a bolted on upper ball joint).

Ensure only the new flat mounting nuts from the repair kit are used when bolting the new flange ball joints to the control arm.
Noncompliance can lead to a torque loss of the threaded connection.

Chassis alignment is not required when replacing the (bolted-on) flange ball joint.
