Component Identification

The bonding areas (A and B) on the body flange must absolutely be free of dust and grease. Only apply primer filler when repairing damage in entire
bonding area on body flange prevent adhesion problems when installing window. If the damage is < 10 %, repair is possible with a touch-up pencil
(primer stick), if the damage is >10 % coat body flange with 2-component primer filler.

Observe the manufacturer's specifications for the curing and processing time of the primer filler.

1. Install new angle brackets (6) on bracket (7) finger-tight.
2. Cut off residual adhesive material on body flange down to a height of approx. 2 mm using suitable scraper. Remove adhesive material residues.
3. Clean working area with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

4. Clean painted adhesive surfaces on body flange and angle brackets (6)
5. Repair paint damage in bonding area and on body flange with touch-up pencil (primer stick) or 2-component primer filler.
6. Install roof molding (2).
7. Apply primer from repair kit bonding areas (A and B) where residual adhesive material on body flange is missing or damaged.

Bonding area (B) is located inside the rubber seal of the roof molding (2).
Allow primer to flash off for at least 10 minutes.

8. Thinly apply adhesive material inside rubber seal of roof molding (2) to primed bonding surface in bonding area (B).

Install rear side window on body flange within 10 minutes after applying adhesive material, otherwise adhesive force of adhesive material starts to
decrease.
