Position butyl tape half over C-pillar corner and press down toward inside. (Figure 27). Use 12 x 1.5 mm butyl strip.

Glue cover plate onto C-pillar.
Clean gluing surface on C-pillar with window cleaning agent.
Always replace cover plate.
6.
Position butyl tape along edge of cover plate (Figure 28).

Use 12 x 1.5 mm butyl strip.

Length of butyl tape approx. 0.1 m.

Position seal on cover plate and press on.
