Water drain hose (B-Figure 30) not positioned correctly. 

Procedure: 

Align water drain hose (B-Figure 30).

1.

Perform rain test.

2.

Loosen nut (A-Figure 30).

3.

Align water drain hose (B-Figure 30).

4.

Reinstall in opposite order.

5.

Perform leakage test.

Cause 2:

Seam sealing on C-pillar body in white leaky at top and side.

Procedure: 

Reseal C-pillar body in white.

1.

Perform rain test.

2.

Move Vario roof to intermediate position and secure (See WIS-document AR77.50-P-3000-01R).

Use Special Tool "Support".

3.

Apply seam sealant. Use MB body sealant for sealing seams (paintable).

Carefully smooth seam sealant.
