Washer Fluid Reservoir Leaks

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding the washer fluid reservoir leaking at the area behind the right front wheel when
filling with fluid, this is due to the loose fit between the filler neck and the reservoir (Figure 1, arrow). This is approximately 125 mm (5 inches) below
the top of the filler neck. Please advise the customer accordingly. This may occur when the customer fills the system above the level indicated by the
arrow. Since it is not possible to see when this level has been reached (this portion of the system is hidden by the right front fender), customers tend to
continue to pour fluid in the reservoir thinking that the system is full when it reaches the visible area in the filler neck under the hood. Do not replace any
parts. It is not possible to have a leak tight system at the point where the filler neck joins with the reservoir (Figure 1, arrow).
