Heater Core: Description and Operation
The heater core serves for heating up the incoming air.
The heated coolant flows through the heater core. Heat is transferred to the outside by banks of tubes and louvers, heating up the air flowing through,
which then flows through the various defroster, vent and heater nozzles into the vehicle passenger compartment.
