Operating the recirculated air flap steplessly between 0 - 90° for controlling the charge pressure

Recirculated air flap actuator function

The recirculated air flap actuator is operated by the engine control module. The recirculated air flap actual value potentiometers advise the
position of the recirculated air flap to the ME-SFI control module in order to detect the various load states. The flap is always closed (maximum
charge pressure) at full load.
