The seal for the Vario roof or the trunk is not within specified dimensions

Seal the trunk, depending on the source of leak determined above.

3.

Install repair wiring harness on PSE pump and rotate PSE pump 180° from its original mounting position. Refer to WIS document
AR80.20-P-2710G.

Note: 

By rotating the pump, the lines lengthen and form a loop and the water that would run down the lines would then drip off at the lowest point of the
loop.

Note: 

As of September 2002 (VIN 280000), the PSE pumps are being installed in the 180° rotated position in the series production.
