Heater Core: Service and Repair

Remove and install heat exchanger

1.1 Remove heater unit
1.2 Remove AC housing

Unscrew bolts (51) on cover (50)

Unclip 8 clamps

Remove cover (50)

Remove guide for heating water flow pipe (53) (screws 54)

Remove heating water return line (d), (screws 55)

Disconnect socket yoke for heating water flow pipe (c)

CAUTION:  Installation: Replace socket yoke.

Remove heat exchanger (60) together with the heating water pipes (c, d)

NOTE:  Clean heater housing from inside, if necessary remove escaping coolant.

Detach heating water pipes (c, d) on heat exchanger, remove screws (57)
