Impact Sensor: Service and Repair

AR91.60-P-0710G Remove/Install Side Airbag Sensor

- with CODE (292) left and right front side airbag

Illustrated on the Left Side of the Vehicle

Procedure

1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove ignition key.
3. Remove door sill molding.
4. Remove front seat.
5. Remove fastener for floor covering on rear wall. (Unscrew floor cover fastener)
6. Fold floor covering forward.
7. Disconnect electrical connector [1].
8. Unscrew screws [2].
9. Remove side airbag sensor.

10. Reinstall in opposite order. The arrow on the sensor must point toward the outside.
11. Perform system diagnosis. See: Testing and Inspection
