If play exists replace tie rod link or Replace drag link.

On model 140 the left-hand drag link, on models 202, 208, 170 the right-hand one is a pivot joint. This prevents any pivot movement in the
drag links.

Check seals and condition of rubber boots (11b)

CAUTION:  If rubber boot is not tight replace tie rod link, or Replace drag link.

Check steering coupling

CAUTION:  It must not have any play, if necessary replace steering coupling.

Check steering gear for play

If play exists adjust vehicle's steering gear.
