Clean contact surfaces (arrows) at rear axle housing to remove paint and/or gasket residuals and remove uneven material using a suitable tool.

Position rear axle center assembly adapter (020h) on rear axle housing (magnetic).

Align rear axle center assembly adapter (020h) in transverse direction using spirit level (020i).

Tighten retaining bolts (020k) for rear axle center assembly adapter (020h).
