In both cases, an emergency call is automatically transmitted to the nearest emergency call center. The emergency call message contains the following
information:

Vehicle position, direction of travel and history

Vehicle data and crash information (severity of accident)

Customer data from emergency call service

Status data
^
Fault codes
Terminating an emergency call
The call is normally terminated by the emergency call center.
The emergency call set-up is terminated after the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) has made 5 unsuccessful dialing attempts.
