General
Normally the mobile phone signals or data for the following vehicle-related services are transmitted and received by the communication module
integrated into the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) via the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) and the rod antenna:

In the event of a defective rod antenna, the communication module integrated into the emergency call system control unit automatically transmits and
receives in the following way:

Function sequence
The emergency call system control unit monitors the rod antenna via the left antenna amplifier module and a direct line. The emergency call system
control unit detects a malfunction in the rod antenna (defective e.g. because of a rollover) or poor reception and then automatically transmits or receives
the mobile phone signals or data for the particular vehicle-related service in the following way:
