If grip lugs are not provided on the protective foils of the adhesive strips on the spoiler corner reinforcement (3), slightly pull protective foils off at
corresponding ends and bend to an angle of 45° toward the edge of the component.

3. Detach protective foil (see arrows) from adhesive strips on spoiler corner reinforcement (3) at corners.

Pull protective foil off in later work step.

4. Align spoiler corner reinforcement according to bumper contour and align mounting bracket (arrow) on spoiler corner reinforcement (3) to

coincide with installation location of expansion clip.

5. Fasten spoiler corner reinforcement (3) to bumper with expansion clip (4).

6. Remove protective foils on adhesive strips between spoiler corner reinforcement (3) and bumper by pulling grip lugs.

To increase the processing reliability when installing the spoiler corner reinforcement (3) apply pressure directly on adhesive strips from one side.

7. Drill in bumper 3 mm pilot holes at center points through predefined holes in spoiler corner reinforcement (3).

Ensure that no other components are damaged when drilling the holes.

8. Fasten spoiler corner reinforcement (3) to bumper with sheet metal screws included.

Installation on the left-hand side takes place in the same way.
