This article is being republished in its entirety to notify field technicians that the service part for the passenger side has been released for
service.

This article supersedes TSB articles 86-18-1, 84-3-4, 84-3-45, and 83-14-2.

Front driver and passenger seats may feel loose or rock (side-to-side) due to floor pan fatigue cracks at the rear seat track attachments. This can be
corrected by installing floor pan reinforcement panels.

The size and length of the fatigue cracks will determine which of the procedures will be followed. The technician should read and understand this
complete article prior to beginning the inspection or repair procedures.
