Vehicles built prior to February 2, 1984, that display a binding/high effort roll up condition may have door glass upstop brackets that are too long and
the protective cloth on stabilizer bracket may separate from the bracket due to the glass rubbing against stabilizer during window cycle. Remove the
existing upstop brackets and replace them with the new shorter upstop bracket, Part No. E4ZZ-6621764-BA (Figure 1). During removal of the upstop
bracket, the dealer technician should also examine the glass stabilizer (22380) located on top of the glass bracket run assembly (223A72), and if the cloth
is loose or separated from the metal portion of the stabilizer, it must be replaced with a new stabilizer, Part No. E4ZZ-7622380-A, per following
instructions and Figure 2.

Remove the door arm rest.
2.
Remove the inside door handle bezel.
3.
Loosen side view mirror bezel at "A" pillar.
4.
Remove door trim panel.
5.
Disconnect power window switch, if so equipped.
