ADJUSTMENT 

Clutch Pedal Height & Free Play Check

Clutch Adjustment. Non-turbocharged Models

1. Lightly depress pedal and measure freeplay.
2. Freeplay should be as follows:

a. On turbocharged models, free- play should be 0.35-0.59 inch.
b. On non-turbocharged models, freeplay should be 0.02-1.20 inch.

3. On non-turbocharged models, loosen locknut, then turn push rod until pedal free play is within specification. Torque locknut to 17-25 ft lbs.

Ensure pedal height is 9.02-9.22 inch.

4. On turbocharged models, if freeplay is not within specifications, proceed as follows:

a. Depress clutch release lever and pull pin away from lever.
