1.

Locate the main wiring harness (14401) and the engine control wiring harness (12A522) in the engine compartment, Figure 2.

2.

See if the main wiring harness engineering part number is 90JA-14401-CF and the engine control wiring harness engineering part number is
90JA-12A522-AB.

a.

If the wiring harness part numbers are correct, DO NOT continue with this TSB article.

b.

If the wiring harness part numbers are not as listed above, proceed with the wiring harness service procedure.

WIRING HARNESS SERVICE PROCEDURE

MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS

1.

Remove the RH trim cover from the center console.

2.

Make sure that the male and female connectors are connected, Figure 1.

3.

Install the RH trim cover on the center console.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS

1.

Remove the RH trim cover from the center console.

2.

Cut the male terminal from the wire.

3.

Tape the cut end of the wire to the loom, Figure 1.

4.

Tape the female terminal to the loom.

5.

Install the RH trim cover on the center console.
