Clamp the reinforcement to the rocker panel as shown in Figure 3. It may be necessary to remove the caulk along the sidemember (rocker panel) to
provide a good fit of the reinforcement. It may also be necessary to hammer form the reinforcement for a tight fit.

Using a No. 11 drill and the holes on the downward flange as a guide, drill through the sidemember (rocker panel) as shown in Figure 3.
