10. Crank the engine until the timing marks on the sprockets are positioned as shown in Fig. 26.
11. Remove the camshaft sprocket capscrew, washers and fuel pump eccentric. Remove the spacer on Lincoln/Mark VI, Ford/Mercury equipped with
electronic fuel injection. Slide both sprockets and the timing chain forward, and remove them as an assembly (Fig. 27).
