In the event the clutch system becomes inoperative on any of the subject vehicles, the self-adjusting clutch pedal shaft assembly should be removed as
outlined in the appropriate Car Shop Manual, Section 16-03, Mechanical Clutch Linkage, and inspected. If the inoperative condition is found to be
caused by broken weld(s) in the areas shown in Figure 8, the clutch pedal shaft assembly (part number 7506) should be replaced. No rewelding should be
attempted.
