Power Seat Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disassemble the front seat backrest.

2. Detach the lumbar support motor.

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2. Drill out the rivets.

3. Remove the lumbar assembly from the seat frame.

1. Unclip the upper edge of the lumbar support.
2. Unhook the lower edge of the lumbar assembly.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

WARNING:  MAKE SURE THAT NO DISCARDED CLIPS OR SUNDRY ITEMS ARE LEFT WITHIN THE SEAT COVER.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS INSTRUCTION COULD RESULT IN COMPONENT MALFUNCTION AND MAY CAUSE DAMAGE
AND PERSONAL INJURY.

CAUTION:  Make sure that any wiring harnesses are correctly routed and secured prior to assembly.
