1. NOTE:  Install the oil pan and tighten the bolts within six minutes of applying sealant. 

Apply 8 mm dots of silicone gasket and sealant to the sealing surface on the cylinder block.

2. NOTE:  Note the locations of the studs.

NOTE:  A new oil pan gasket must be used when the oil pan is being installed.

Position the oil pan and loosely install the bolts and studs.

3. Install the oil pan to transaxle housing bolts.

4. NOTE:  Tighten the bolts and nuts in the indicated sequence. 

Install the oil pan.
