Timing Cover: Service and Repair
Engine Front Cover
Removal
1. Remove the right-hand valve cover.
2. Remove the left-hand valve cover.
3. Remove the oil pan.
4. Remove the generator.
5. Remove the power steering pump.
6. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
7. Disconnect the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor and the left-hand Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S) electrical connectors.

Detach the wiring harness retainer and position the harness to one side.
8. Remove the sensors.
