18. Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley.

19. Disconnect the power steering pump high pressure tube union. Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.

Vehicles with 2.5L engine 

20. Remove the Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the switch.

21. CAUTION:  Make sure the power steering fluid does not contaminate the accessory drive belt. 

Disconnect the high-pressure tube union.
1. Detach the clamp.
2. Disconnect the tube union.

Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.

All Vehicles 
22. Raise and support the vehicle.
