23. Remove the two splash shields (wheel removed for clarity).
Vehicles with 2.5L engine
24. Remove the right-hand side tie-rod end retaining nut.
25. NOTE: When the tie-rod end is separated from the wheel knuckle the ball joint seal should be protected to prevent damage.
Using the special tool, separate the right-hand tie rod end from the wheel knuckle.
26. Remove the front exhaust hanger insulator.
