6. CAUTION:  Use a socket to remove the hub nut to prevent damage.

Remove the hub nut.

7. CAUTION:  If the wheel bearing inner ring bore clip is displaced a complete new bearing must be installed.

Using the special tools, remove the hub.

Vehicles with rear disc brakes 

8. Disconnect the disc brake pad wear indicator electrical connector (if equipped).

9. Remove the parking brake cable retaining clip.
