Vehicles With Returnless Fuel System
REMOVAL
CAUTION: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable
vapors are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may cause personal injury.
1. Remove the air cleaner assembly outlet tube.
2. Disconnect the fuel line.
3. Remove the upper intake manifold.
4. Disconnect the six electrical connectors from the fuel injectors and position the harness to one side.
5. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor electrical connector.
6. Disconnect the vacuum line.
