5. Remove the shift cable bracket bolts and reposition the shift cable to one side.

Disconnect the shift cable.

6. Remove the starter motor support bracket.

7. Remove the schrader valve cap.

8. Using the special tool, turn the tap fully counterclockwise to relieve the fuel pressure.

WARNING:  MAKE SURE THE TAP IS TURNED FULLY CLOCKWISE BEFORE FITTING THE FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE TO
THE SCHRADER VALVE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS INSTRUCTION MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.

NOTE:  When relieving the fuel pressure, catch any displaced fuel in a suitable container.

9. Using the special tool, disconnect the fuel return pipe.
